Besan Ke Laddu

Besan Ke Laddu

Besan ke Laddu

Lord Ganesha’s favorite, laddu, is one of the most liked Indian sweets and Besan ke laddu is the top in the list of laddoos. Besan laddoos can complete any happy moment in an Indian family. I am sharing a simple and easy recipe for making besan laddoos.

Arrange the following ingredients (for 5 laddoos)before starting the actual preparation:

Ingredients:

  • 250 gm of gram flour (besan)
  • 200 gm of powdered sugar
  • 100 ml of ghee (you can add more as per your taste)
  • 1 tsp of crushed almonds (you can add cashew, cardamom or any other dry fruit of your choice)
Now start the preparation of laddoos by following the given procedure:

Procedure:

  1. Take a medium sized non -stick pan. Then, switch on the gas and put it on low flame (or temperature).
  2. Now pour 100 ml of ghee into the pan and heat it on medium flame for 5 minutes.
  3. Add besan and roast it on low flame stirring continuously.
  4. Add powdered sugar to the besan and keep stirring till the besan looses a raw flavor.
  5. Add crushed almonds and keep stirring the mixture for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Now take out the prepared mixture in a flat pan.
  7. Add 2 tbsp of ghee in the mixture and mix it well.
  8. Make small round shaped laddoos. (If you are unable to give shape to the laddoos, you can add some more ghee at this stage also to give them round shape.)
  9. Serve the laddoos in a plate.
